Good Bye 2011 and Hello 2012
Wow what a year 2011 was for Corps Style Concepts (CSC). We thought that after the World Music Contest in 2009 two rather slow years would follow because usually after the WMC many bands in Europe take two years before they start thinking about new programs and use these two years for other business like concerts or producing a second program just for fun and or commercial business but nothing like that!!! read the 2011 summary.

Great Succes in Denmark for Brovst Pigegarde
The Brovst Pigegarde from Brovst Denmark have achieved a fourth place overall at the Danish National Championships. This famous All Girl Band was one of the few bands that dared to bring an a complete new show to the field where many bands brought adjusted shows from two years ago. With their show B-Rhapsody (the music of Queen) they gained a lot of respect from their competitors, audience and judges.

Brovst Pigegarde finalist at World Championships
The Brovst Pigegarde particpated at the World Championships for Marching Showbands in Potsdam last july. Looking at their scores at the Danish Championships in 2008 they knew that making finals was a challenge but not impossible. After a week of hard work with our CSC consultants Rene Ranzijn and Mark Limburg they came through the prelims and took 8th place at finals. Congratulations!

International CSC Clinician Scott Brown visits Holland
For the second time this year, renowned percussion clinician Scott Brown will visit The Netherlands to conduct workshops. Last year Scott judged the World Music Contest in Kerkrade. He will be in The Netherlands from 19th June till 27th June to work with Beatrix drum & bugle corps from Hilversum for which he arranged all the percussion scores in a co-production with Paul Doop (front ensemble). But also he will conduct several workshops with other bands and ensembles like the Damiate Band from Haarlem on Monday 21st August.

Scott was in Holland last February.
